		<description>I loved speed.  It was cheap and easy to get back in 1970...and so on.  Diet pills were abundant, and there were always guys with big sisters who had diet pills.  There was a doctor nearby who was notorious for handing out prescriptions to anybody who said that they were overweight.

Could not go to a concert without it!

I stopped New Years Day 1972, after staying up for way to many hours.  Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Harold had come over for dinner, and they were playing a recording to go along with a slide show of their nephew and his wife&#039;s trip to Europe.  That was enough to really put an edge on the hallucinating that I was doing while trying to fall asleep.

That was an incentive to stop.</description>
